Imprimis I humbly bequeath my Soul to God my maker beseeching his most gracious exceptance of it through the sufficient merity of my compassionate Redeemer Jesus Christ who gave himself to be attonement for my sins and is able to Love to the utmost all tha comes to God by him seeing has ever liveth to make entercessions for them and who trust will not reject me a returning persistent sinner when I come to him for mercy in this hope and confidence I render my soul with comfort him beseeching the blessed trinity one God most holey merciful and gracious to prepare me for the time of my disalution and then take me to himself unto that rest and incomparable felicity which he has prepared for all that come and fear his Holy Name Amen blessed be God. Imprimis I give my body to the Earth from whence it was taken in full appearance of its resurrection from thence at the last Day as for my burial I leave it to the discretion of my dear wife and executors hereafter named and as for my worldly Estate I will and positively order my just debts be paid first then I lend to my loving wife HENRYETTA DODD During her life or widowhood all my land and living within doors and without doors the support of herself and small children and after her decease or marriage the land whereon I now live I give and bequeath unto my two sons BENJAMIN DODD and NICKOLAS DODD to be Equally Divided between them for ever and if Either of them die without heirs or before they can Receive it the other to Return to the others part of the land then my Desire is at the decease or marriage of my loving wife that all my moveable property after my daughters JAIN (JANE) DODD, TELEY DODD, ROSEY DODD and PENATHA? DODD takes out there properity of mine which Each one now nows there own property the balance to be sold and Equally divided between all my children then living no advantage to be taken __ others ___ all __ __ in unity ___ ___ is I allso Do not disinherit? My Daughters above named but that they shall have a rite to __ my house __ __ __ whereon I now live as __ Remain __ __ ___ Nominate and appoint My loving wife HENRYETTA __ __ and my Sons GEORGE DODD and BENJAMIN DODD and JONATHAN DODD Executors of my Last will and Testament and trusty ___ brethren in witness whereon I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal this first day __ of January one thousand Eight Hundred and twenty.
