STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA
Chatham County
 
This day came before us JOHN RAMSEY & JOSEPH HINTON, two of the States 
Justices, Mr. GEORGE GLASSCOCK & his wife appeared for keeping the the County 
aforesaid and made oath that sometime about the last of May or first of June 
last, they heard PETER DUNKIN say (as he was then going out a twelve months 
Regular), that it was his desire in case of Death that JOHN ELLIOTT should 
heir and possess all his Cattle and other Effects to be at the said JOHN 
ELLIOTT'S Disposal or words to this Effect. Sworn to before us this 25 Jany. 
1782.
