In the name of God Amen. I Ruth Evans being sick of body but of perfect mind and memory considering that is is allotted for all men once to die do first will my soul to God that gave it me. Now as touching my worldly goods. I will as follows. Item I give and bequeath to my Daughter? Mary McPherson five dollars to be paid her in cash. Item. I give unto my four sons namely, Owen? Evans, John Evans Tho's and Aaron Evans, each of them ten shillings to be paid them in cash. If further give unto my son Aaron Evans the one half of all my stock of every kind then? Item I give unto my five daughters namely Mary McPherson, Sarah Emerson, Abigail Pyle, Ruth Brooks, & Rebecca Evans all the residue of my Estate of every kind whatsover to be Equally divided to them and their heirs forever... (Then follows five or six words that I cannot make out, they are so dim) ..their heirs forever is meant to stand (or extend?) to the whole of my legatees.
