A, pg. 243 NCSA Film # C.022.80001 In the name of God amen. I Joseph Glasson of the county of Chatham and State of North Carolina being very sick but of sound mind and memory therefore calling to mind the mortality of my body, and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die, do make & ordain this to be my last Will and Testament in manner and form following. First My Will is that all my just debts be regularly discharged. I give to my beloved Wife, Mary Glasson all my personal estate of whatsoever kind & quality it may consist for the support of herself and my children should all be Rise? together during their minority. I lend to my Wife Mary Glasson the use of all the Lands I am possessed of or entitled to during her natural life for the support of herself, and my children and at the death of my Wife My will is that my Lands be equally divided amongst my children. I nominate and appoint my Friend William Snipes sole executor of this my last Will and Testament.
