Being very sick and weak in Body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be given unto god, calling unto mind the mortality of my Body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament that is to say principally and first of all I give and recommend my soul into the hand of almighty god that gave it, and my Body I recommend to the earth to be buried in decent Christian burial, at the discretion of my executor nothing doubting that at the general Resurrection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of god, and as touching such worldly estate wherewith it has please god to bless me in the life I give and demise of the same in the following manner and forme__ first I give and bequeath to Margaret my dearly beloved wife one third part of my estate to be possessed by her as her own property with a young Black Mare which I give to her in her third of my estate whome I make and Constitute and ordain with my son Robert Executrix and Executor of this my last Will and Testament __ also I give to my well beloved son Solomon and my grandson William my plantation including two Hundred Thirty seven acres of land to be equally divided between them by them freely to be possessed and enjoued__ also I give to my son Isiah one Black Mare with a Bale? face as his one property forever, and the rest of my household goods and moveable Estate I give amongst all my Childering eaqually to be divided amongst them all by a apraisement and not sold by them freely to be, possessed and enjoued and I do hereby utterly disavow, revoke, and disannul all and every other former Testaments Wills, Legacies, Bequests, and executors, by me in any wise before named Willed and bequeathed ratifying and confirming this and not other to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fourteenth day of December in the year of our lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty Seven Signed Sealed published pronounced and declared by the said John Wilkerson as his last Will and testament in the presents of us who in his presence and in the presence of each other have heart subscribed our names John Ratcliff Thomas Rubottom Singed John (his 8 mark) Wilkerson A Copy Test John Ramsey C.
