Note: William Phillips (b. abt. 1810--never married) had 4 known 
brothers and sisters: Chloe (b. abt. 1808), Catherine (b. abt. 1815--
never married), Joshua (b. abt. 1820) married Elizabeth, Berry 
(b. abt. 1825) married (1st) Mary Ann Shields and (2nd) Rhoda Frances 
Hancock Brewer.   At his death, William left rights to live on the 
land to his sisters Catherine & Chloe.  Chloe Phillips married William 
Maynor/Mainard.  
They had 3 children: Joseph (1842-1917) married Mary A. Martindale
William Judson (1845-1926) married Mary Ann Phillips
Thenia (Maness) (1847-1926) married Martin D. Davis
