I, Richard Pilkinton, of the County and State aforesaid, being in ordinary good health of sound and disposing mind and memory do make and publish this as my last will and testament. Imprimis. I desire that all my just debts be paid. Item. I devise & bequeath to my son John William Madison Pilkinton the child of my wife Anne formerly Anne Smith, the whole of my estate both real and personal of every sort & description whatsoever I do hereby appoint & nominate my said son J. W. M. Pilkinton sole Executor of this my last will & testament. In testimony of all which I the said Richard Pilkinton have hereunto subscribed my hand & seal at Pittsboro this 13th August 1834.
