I Nancy H. Holyburth Rusel of the County of Chatham and state of North Carolina
Being of sound mind and memory but considering the uncertainty of [scratched out]
Earthly Existence do make and declare this my last Will and testament in manner
and form folowing that is to say first - that the Executors hearin after Named 
shall provide for my body asuitable Burial.

I give and Bequeath to Alvis Johnson Curl (?) The land that I now live on and one bed
& bedding and one Fallen Leaf Table & one cow & one Beaureaugh & the clock and the
sheep.

I give and Bequeath to Each of my Brothers and sisters one dollar a piece and after
my Lawful Depts and funeral charges is paid the residue of my Estate I give and
Bequeath to Alvis Johnson Curl (?).

I constitute (?) and appoint Ira Braxton to be my Lawful Executor to all intents
and purposes to Execute this my Last will and Testament according to the true
intent and meaning of the same and Every last (?) and ob----? of --- same hearchy?
Revoking all former wills by me made in witness. Whearof I the sad Nancy Holyburth
Rusel do hearin ----?--- set my hands and seal this the 25 day of March A _ 1882.

Probate Court April 6th 1882

A paper writing purporting to be the last will and Testament of Nancy H. Russell
deceased was this day offered for probate by Ira Braxton the Executor named in
said will. The Executor of Said will was this day duly proved by the Oath and
Examination of Wm. E. Braxton & C. N. Cheek the Subscribing witnesses there to,
and Said will was admitted to probate and Ordered to be recorded and filed.

Thereupon ira Braxton the Executor Came into Court and was duly qualified as
such.
