Thomas, of the aforesaid County and State, being of sound mind, declare this my last will and testament: First: My executor, hereinafter named, shall give my body a decent burial suitable to the wishes of my friends and relatives, and pay all funeral expenses, together with all my just debts, out of the first moneys which may come into his hands belonging to my estate. Second: I give and devise to my brother, Davis Thomas, twenty-eight acres of land, running from Haw River to Grant Ramsey's line - and also give to Davis Thomas, my brother, one-half of all the balance of my property, both real and personal. Third: I give and devise to my beloved wife, Mollie, one-half of the personal and real estate during her life time and at my wife's death I give and devise to Mary Thomas wife of Edd Thomas one-half of my property and at the death of Mary Thomas I give & devise all of said half of my property to Mary Thomas' child, Thelma Thomas.
