CHATHAM COUNTY, NC - WILLS - Mountain Williams, Feb 1873 ----¤¤¤¤---- Found in the loose paper NC State Archives: State of North Carolina Chatham County In the name of God AMen, I Mountain Williams of the County & State aforesaid, being feeble in health but of disposing mind & memory, do make this my last will & testament, in manner following to wit. First I give my land to Josephena Williams, Henrietta Barbee, Adolphus Williams & Clementina Williams to be equally divided between them. Second I give to Clementina Williams one heifer yearling known by the name of Sister Third I give also to Josephena Williams & Henrietta Barbee one bed & furniture also the bed-stead (?) I also give to Adolphus Williams one bed & furniture. I also give to Clementina Williams one -?- bed-stead (?) & furniture It is then my will that my stock consisting of one mule, cattle hogs and other property I may possess be sold & after my just debts are paid the balance to be equally divided amond all my children each to share alike.
