In the Name of God Amen I Jonathan Zachariah of the County of Chatham in
the State of North Carolina being in a low State of health at present
but in perfect Mind and memory blessed by God for his Mercy and knowing
that it is ordained for all men Once to die. do this 10th day of May in
the year of our lord One thousand seven hundred Ninety five make and
ordain this to be my last will Testament that is to say in the first
place I recommend my soul to God that first gave it me a being and my
body to the grave to be burried in a decent christian like manner at the
discretion of my Executors and as to my worldly estate that it been
pleased God to bless me with I mean to dispose of as follows. To wit,
and it is my Desire that there should be Enough of my Estate sold to pay
off all my Just Debts. and after all my Just Debts is paid it is also my
desire that the remaining of my Estate with all my Out Standing Debts be
Equally divided between my beloved wife Jane Allen Zachry and four
Children Viz. my beloved son William Zachry Betsy Zachary. Nancy Zachary
and & Jonathan Zachary. & that it is also my desire that my beloved wife
Jane Allen Zachary b Executrix and Langston Bowen Gordan Exectr.  In
Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal the day and year
above written.
