They are principally from the Counties of Cherokee and Macon. They were expected to leave the next morning for Smithville. The following is a lkist of the officers: SAMUEL TIPTON - Captain JAMES H. TATHAM - 1st Lieutenant HUGH HENRY - 2nd Lieutenant SETH HIATT - 2nd Lieutenant SAMUEL J. FINCH - 1st Sergeant GOLDING BRYSON - 2nd Sergeant THOS. RAY - 3rd Sergeant PLEASANT RAY - 4th Sergeant JASON HUNTER - 1st Corporal HENRY EASTUS - 2nd Corporal LEGRAND ROBINSON - 3rd Corporal THOMAS SILER - 4th Corporal Additional Comments: Note: This company was not listed on the Rolls of the Adjutant General published on March 18, 1847 in the Charlotte Journal. The list of officers above named appeared in the April 1, 1847 Charlotte Journal, but no further listing of the men in the company has been given in the Charlotte Journal. -- C.S.
