The Raleigh Standard, March 15, 1865
   Died, of brain fever, June 15th, 1864, in his tenth year, WILLIS M., son of 
SAMUEL and JANE DAVIDSON of Cherokee County, N. C. He was thoughtful beyond 
his years. One one occasion, when in health, he said to his father when at the 
grave of his little sister, BETTIE, "If I die before any of you, bury me 
beside Bettie."
   He was buried at Murphy beside BETTIE.
