Churchwarden Vestry Men Mr. Henry King Jethro Benton Luke Sumner Peter Parker Richard Bond William Walton The Vestry Proceeds To The Choice of Churchwardens for The Ensuing Year and accordingly chose Mr Josiah Granbery and Mr Timothy Walton who are accordingly Appointed Church wardens Ordered That They the said Church wardens or Either of Them do Imploy an Attorney to bring Suits against The Executors of Peter Payne The Executors of James Trotter deceased and Joseph Herron & The Exors or Admrs. of Abraham Blackall for a Settlement of Their Several Respective Parish Accompts And also for the Penalty by Law Inflicted against Joseph Herron for Refusing To settle his Parish Accompts with The Vestry when Summoned for That Purpose Orderd That William Umphlet be Appointed Reader at The Knotty Pine Chappel in The Room and stead of John Skiner and That he be Allowed forty Shillings pr. Annum for ye Same and That The several Other Readers be Continued at the Same Rate and That each of The Respective Readers in This Parish may Read at Some Convenient House From Their Chappels which may be The Most for The Ease of The people not Exceeding every Third Sunday according to the Like Order of Vestry made Last year William Hunter Produced a Certificate according to Law for a Wolfs Scalp killed in This Parish. Ordered That he be Allowed Ten Shillings for the same out of The Next Levey & ye Certificate Destroyed Mr Demsey Sumner One of the Late Churchwardens Produced his Account with the parish for The Last year which was read Examined and Allowed by which it appears That The ballance is Three Pounds. Twelve Shillings and a half Penney due from That parish Ordered. That the said Acct be Entered in The Vestry book ----------------------------- At a Vestry Held at Constant's Chapel on Monday The 20th Day of October 1760.
