                       EXECUTOR'S NOTICE

   The Subscriber having qualified as Executor of the Last Will and Testament 
of CAPTAIN SAMUEL BUTLER, dec'd., at the last term of Chowan County Court, 
requests all persons indebted to the estate of the said deceased to make 
immediate payment and those having demands against it are hereby notified to 
exhibit them within the time prescribed by law.
