North Carolina }        Know all men by these Presents that we
 Chowan County }        Aaron Hill Joohn Minshew Aron Blansen
                        Planters ___________________________
                        all of the County & Province aforesd jointly &
Severally do stand Bound unto the worshipfull Justices of the said
County Court of their Successors into the Sum of Fifty pounds
                 Proclamation Money the which payment well of
truly to be made of done we bind Ourselves Our Heirs Executors Admors
firmly by these Presents Sealed with our Seals of Dated this__________
twenty fourth Day of April Anno Domini 1761____________________
          The Condition of the above Obligation is such that
whereas the above Bounden Aron Hill___ was the Day
of Year aforesaid by the Justices of the aforesaid County Court
nominated of appointed guardian of Elisha Hobbs________
Orphan of Thomas Hobbs__Late of the said County Deceased
& by Order of said Court is Authorized & Impowered to take into
his Hands & Possession all the Estate of said Orphan wheresoever
in this County to be found. Now if the said Aron Hill___
________ his Heirs Executors or Admors shall & do tender
a true & Just Account of all such Estate Goods & Chattels, Rights
of Credits of the said Orphan that shall come into his Hands or
Possession or into the Hands or Possession of any other Person or
Persons what so ever by his Order or Procinement of the same Goods
of Chattels shall pay or cause to be paid & Delivered unto the sd
Orphan when Lawfully Demanded in Kind Quantity & Quality
as received & shall in all things Act Perform & Execute the Office
of Duty of a Guardian for & towards the said Orphan & also
shall tender a true & Just Account to said County Court at
all or any Times or Times when the sd Aron Hill _____
shall be therto required so that the Justices of the said County 
Court shall always be Saved & Kept Harmless from of and
Concerning the Estate of the said Orphan______________

Then the within Obligation to be Void & of none Effect or else
to Remain in full Force & Virtue.
