Chowan County   }         Guy Hill  Robert Lassiter  Timothy Walton

all of the County and Province afoursaid Jointly and Severally do
stand bound into the Worhipfull Justices of the County Court
afoursaid and their Successor in The sum of Fifty pounds
Money the Which payment well & Truly to be maid &
Don bind us and Either of us our Heir Exors and Admors firmly
by These Presents Seald with our Seals and Dated the 4th day of
October Anno Dom: 1759 _____________________________

The Conditions of this obligation is such that whereas the above
boundon Guy Hill ___________________________ was the
day and year afoursaid by the Justice of the said Court Nominated
and appointed Guardian of the Demsey Hobbs ______________
late of the said County Deceased and by order of the said Authorized
and Impowered to take inot his Hand & possession all the Estate
of the Said Orphan Where so even in this County to be found now
if the said Guy Hill ________________His Heirs Exors Admors
shall and do Render a true and Just acct. of all such Estate goods
and Chattles Rights & Credits of the said Orphan that Shall Come
into His hands & possession or into the Hands and Possession of
any other person or Persons whatsoever by his or procure mentiond
The same goods & Chattles shall pay or Cause to be Paid unto the 
said Guy Hill _____________When Lawfully Demanded in kind
Quantity and Quallity Received and in all things act perform and
Execute the office and Duty of the Guardian for and to wards the
said Orphan and shall Render a true and Just acct. to the said Coun-
ty Court at all or any Time or Times When the said shall be here
unto Required so shall the said Justice of the said Court shall be
always Saved and Kept Harmless of Concerning the said orphan
then their Obligation to be Voaid or Exect and Remain in full
forse and Virtue
