STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA  CHOWAN COUNTY COURT
June Term, 1808

JOSEPH UNDERHILL, Administrator of THOMAS FITTS, dec'd

                  vs.
JAMES DEANE, dec'd

Original Attachment against the estate of JAMES DEANE, late of Turk's Island, 
dec'd, returnable to this Court at this Term

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the Defendants, MARY DEANE, 
Executrix; BENJAMIN BASCOME, GEORGE BASCOME and WILLIAM DEANE, JAMES DEANE, 
and MICHAEL DEANE, Executors, of the said JAMES DEANE, dec'd, reside beyond 
the limits of this State. It is ordered that public notice be given by 
advertisement for three months in the Edenton Gazette that unless the 
Defendants appear at the next Term of said Court to be held for the County of 
Chowan in Edenton on the second Monday of September next and replevy the said 
estate and plead to the said action, final judgment will be entered up against 
them.
