North Carolina sc. At a Council held at Edenton the 3d day of August Anno 
Domini 1723. Present The Honorable William Reed Esqr. President etc. Chr. 
Gale, Richd. Sanderson, John Lovick, Thos. Pollock Esqurs. Lds. Proprietors 
Deputys.

Read the petition of William Yates Shewing That in the year 1719 a patent of 
113 Acres lying in Chowan precinct was granted to John Paget who not having 
Cultivated the Same as the directs therefore prays he may have a patent for 
the same.

Ordered That the prayer of the petitioner be granted.
