Wm Bush to Wm Sharpe a Deed of Sale

This Indenture made ye 17th day of July in the year of our Ld God 1714 Between 
Wm Bush & Martha his wife of ye one part & Wm Sharp of the other Party 
Witnesseth yet ye sd Wm Bush for & in consideration of Ten Pounds Curr'cy 
Money of ys Province to him in hand paid whereof he ye sd Wm Bush doth hereby 
acknowledge & of every part & parcel & of every part & parcel thereof doth 
hereby acquit exonerate & discharge ye sd Wm Sharp his Heirs & Assigns for 
ever have given granted bargained and sold & by these presents do fully 
clearly & absolutely give grant bargain Alien & Sell all ye part & parcel of 
Land lying & being in Chowan Precinct afs'd on Wickacorn [Wiccacon River] 
beginning at ye Creek a Gutt & so running up ye sd Gutt or Swamp between 
Treddle Keefe & Sharp to ye Fork & from thence up ye same Branch to a mark'd 
Pine being ye head Line & along ye head line Sl. 79 W't 100 pole to a Black 
Oak thence W't 10 E 74 pole to a maple by ye Creek Pecoson down ye Creek 
Various Courses to ye first Station being ye mouth of ye sd Gutt on a Branch 
containing Two Hundred acres of Land more of less to have & to hold ye sd Land 
bargained & Sold as afo'd unto ye sd Wm Sharp his Heirs & assigns for Ever 
w'th all ye Rights members & appurtenances thereof for ever w'th all Houses 
Gardens Nurseries Clear Ground Woodland Ground waters & water courses & all 
other Liberties & priviledges therein & thereon contained and ye sd Wm Bush & 
Martha his wife for ym & each of ym their & each of their Heirs etc. do 
promise & warrant at ye Ensealing & delivery hereof that they have a good 
right Title & Estate in ye premises in fee simple & hath full right & Lawfull 
Authority to bargain & sell the same unto ye sd William Sharp his Heirs & 
Assigns for Ever & by these presents doth warr't ye sd Premises to be & remain 
free from all claim & demand of ye sd Wm Bush & Martha his wife or Either of 
ym or any person or persons whatsoever laying Lawfull Claim thereunto or any 
part of parcel thereof & that ye sd Land & premises now are and & so shall & 
may for Ever hereafter Remain Continue & be unto ye sd Wm Sharp his Heirs & 
Assigns free & Clearly acquitted Exonerated & discharged of & from all & all 
manner of former & other Gifts Grants Leases uses titles annuances  Judgm'ts 
rents arrearages of Rents & all other Incumbrances of what nature & Kind 
soever & yt ye sd Wm Sharp his Heirs and Assigns shall from time to time & all 
times hereafter shall peaceably have hold occupy Possess & Enjoy ye sd Land & 
premises without the Lett  Suit trouble Denial Disturbance molestation 
interruption or Eviction of ye sd Wm Bush & Martha his wife their or Either of 
their Heirs & Assigns or any other Person or persons claiming from by or under 
them or Either of ym or any other person or persons.
