27 Oct 1746 - George Clemonts (Clemmons) to Henry King, 60 pounds for 100 acres 
"I..am obliged to Henry King of Chowan County..in seventy pounds Virginia 
money..I bind myself (and heirs) this 27th day of October Anno Dom 
1746..whereas..hath bargained and sold..one hundred acres of land lying on 
Rocquis Pocoson..which George Clemons formerly purchased of John Herring Jun..", 
adjacent Charles King as by patent to John Herring. Wit: Michael King, Charles 
King, Thomas Retter. May Court 1748. __Lovick C/C.
