You are forthwith measure & lay out unto Capt'n Wm. Downing 450 Acres of Land 
Observing etc Given etc 1715.

unto Cap'n Wm Downing a tract of Land Con'n 450 Acres lying in Chowan precinct 
beginning at ye Center of 2 ..........oaks & a pine Mary Boarlands corn'r yn S 
920 pole to a pine another of her corn'rs ..... yn E 194 pole to a pine on a 
branch of corneby Creek yn along ye various courses of ye branch to an oak 
James Barrows corn'r tree yn along his this line to ye first station being due 
Eas

To have etc. Yielding etc. Ye Fee rent of one Shilling etc. Provided etc. 
Given Etc. ye March ye 30/ 1721.
