His Excell’y John Lord Carteret  pal. etc. To all etc. Doe hereby give and 
grant unto John Bush a Tract of Land containing 210 acres lying in Chowan 
precinct beginning at a Cypress in the Quackason Swamp then S 40 E 240 pole to 
the center of three pines then N 40 E 208 pole to a Cypress in the Quackason 
Swamp then the courses of the sd Swamp to the first Station being due etc.

To have and to hold etc. Yielding and paying etc Yearly etc. the  Fee rent of 
one Shilling for every fifty acres hereby granted etc. Provided  etc. Given 
etc March ye 9th 1717.
