Winns to Bush - a Conveyance

This Indenture made this 14, Apr'll 1718 Between George Winns of Chowan 
Precinct of the one part & Wm. Bush of the other part wittnesseth y't the s'd 
George Winns for & in Consideration of ye Sum of Six pounds Sterling to him in 
hand paid by Wm.Bush the receipt  whereof he doth hereby acquit exonerate & 
Discharge the s'd. Wm. Bush his Heirs & assigns for ever have Given Granted 
bargained Sold & by these presents fully Clearly and absolutely Give Grant 
bargain Aliene & Sell all y't. part & parcel of Land lying & being in Chowan 
Precinct beginning on Barbacue Swamp & running up the Swamp to a red Oak 
thence No. 400 Pole to a Pine then No. 85E't. so farr along y't. line as will 
compute One hundred & twenty acres of Land to ly in a long square to be of an 
Equal bredth at Each End & then by a straight line of Mark'd trees to the 
first Station Contain'd One Hundred & twenty Acres.

To have & to hold the s'd. Land Bargained & Sold as afs'd.; unto the s'd. Wm. 
Bush his Heirs & Assigns forever together with all the Rights Members & 
Appurtenances there of for ever And the sd. George Winns for himself his Heirs 
Ex'rs. & adm'rs., do promise & warr't. y't at the Ensealing & Delivery hereof 
y't. he hath a .....right full power & lawfull authority to bargain & sell y'e 
same unto y'e s'd. Wm. Bush his Heirs & assignes for ever, by these presents 
doth warrant the s'd. p'rmises bargained & sold as afs'd to be & remain free 
from all Claims & Demand of the s'd. George Winns his Heirs Ex'rs Adm'rs. or 
any other person or Persons w'tsoever  And y't the s'd Land & pr'mises now are 
& so shall & may for ever here after Remain Continue & be unto the s'd Wm. 
Bush his Heirs & assignes for ever free & freely acquitted Exonerated & 
discharged of & from all & all maner of former & other Gifts Grants Leases 
uses wills Titles Judges, ts:  Rents & arrears of Rents & all other 
Incombrances of what nature & kind so ever & y't the s'd Wm. Bush his Heirs & 
assignes shall from time to time & at all times hereafter Peaceably & Quietly 
Have hold use occupy possess & enjoy the s'd. Land & p'rmises without the Lett 
Suit Trouble denial Disturbance Molestation Interruption or Eviction of the 
S'd. George Winns his Heirs Ex'rs. Adm'rs. or any other Person Or Persons 
whatsoever laying lawfull Claim thereunto or any part of parcel thereof. And 
for y'e acknowledgement of the Same in the Precinct Court of Chowan when there 
unto Reasonably required the s'd Geo. Winns Binds himself  his Heirs Ex'rs. 
adm'rs. firmly by these p'rsents in y'e full Sum of twelve pounds Sterling 
money of Great Brittain.

In witness whereof the sd' George Winns hast hereunto Sett his hand &  Seal 
the day & year first within written.
