Tuesday, May 5, 1812  Edenton Gazette May 5, 1812
   LOST -- On the post-road between Gates Court-House andJOHN BENBURY WALTON'S 
out of the mail stage on Sunday the 12th of April, a Side of Black Harness 
Leather, weighing 14-1'2 lbs. and two Philadelphia-made men's Saddletrees; 
which I was conveying from Suffolk to WILLIAM LANE in Edenton. Any person 
finding said property, and returning it to subscriber will be handsomely 
reward.
