Sept. 21, 1819 September 4, 1819 -- By the arrival this morning (4th) of the schooner, "Eliza Ann," CAPT. HARLOW, in ten days from Elizabeth City, N. C., we learn that the "Emily" from Elizabeth City bound to Edenton with a cargo of wheat, floundered on the 23rd inst. about 15 leagues east of Cape Hatteras. Her commander CAPT. JONES and crew have arrived her in the "Eliza Ann". (N.Y. Cons. Adm.) Note: According to the Gazette, the "Emily" belonged to the port of Edenton.
