BAKER, committed to the Jail of Chowan County, for a violation of the Revenue Law of the United States, did escape from said Jail on Sunday night last: this is therefore to require all Coroners, Sheriffs, Constables, and other officers of the State, to arrest the said THOMAS W. BAKER, if he be found in their jurisdiction, and commit him again, so that he may be forthcoming to answer said charge. THOS. W. BAKER is a resident of the town of Dennis, Mass., aged 25 years , five feet six inches high, light complexion, dark hair, has a very simple look and to appearance possesses great simplicity of character.
