   DEPARTED THIS LIFE, on the 26th ult. in the 26th year of his age, at the 
residence of his brother, in Columbia, Tyrrell County, DR. HARDY HOSKINS, late 
of this town -- a young gentleman of amiable deportment, and benevolance of 
disposition, whose entire conviction to the extreme importance of a virtuous 
and moral conduct, was exemplied in the performance of every personal and 
social duty.
