Tuesday, Aug. 31, 1819   Edenton Gazette
   DIED, at New Orleans on the 9th of July, on baord the ship, "Missouri," of 
Baltimore, JOSEPH MANNING, aged 19 years, eldest son of MR. JOSEPH MANNING of 
Edenton. He was much respected by all who knew him; and died the second day 
after he was taken of the nervous fever. His remains were deposited in the 
Protestant burying ground of that City.
