   DEPARTED THIS LIFE, greatly lamented, on the 31st ult., MRS. NANCY 
NORFLEET, the amiable consort of ELISHA NORFLEET, ESQ., aged 44 years. In all 
the relations of life, as a wife, a mother, a neighbor and a friend, she was 
truly exemplary. The pains of a long and distressing illness, she supported 
with uncommon fortitude, patience and resignation; and in the last hours of 
her mortal life, she express that firm, rational and unshaken belief, that 
lively and confident hope in the merits and mediation of her blessed Redeemer, 
which afford a sweet, an ineffable consolation to her numerous and sorrowing 
friends, and imparts a pleasing hope that she participates in the joys of a 
happy immortality.
