The Edenton Gazette, Dec. 3, 1821
   DIED, on Monday last, about 10 o'clock, MR. AMASA PERRIN, a native of Rhode 
Island, and for many years a resident of Edenton. His death was occasioned by 
a fall from a garret, which broke several of his ribs and fractured his skull. 
His remains were respectfully interred in St. Paul's Episcopal Churchyard on 
Tuesday.
