MAUDE DEASIE TWINE TWINE

  Mrs. Maude Deasie Twine, 83, of 412 York St., died Monday in her home. She 
was the widow of Thomas C. Twine, the daughter of the late William H. and 
Mrs. Emma Sutton Twine, and a native of Chowan County, N.C.
  She was a member of Suffolk Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she was a 
member of the adult women’s Bible Class and Women’s Auxilary.
  Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ruth T. Byrum of Windsor; three sons, 
Thomas H. Twine, Charles W. Twine, and Billy L. Twine of Suffolk; three 
sisters, Mrs. Mary E. Twine of Tyner, N.C., Mrs. Minnie T. Overton of 
Elizabeth City, N.C. and Mrs. Paul T. Byrum of Chesapeake; 12 grandchildren; 
and four great-grandchildren.
  A funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral 
Home, Suffolk, by the Rev. Norwood C. Starling. Burial will be in Holly Lawn 
Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.  
Donations may be made to the Nansemond-Suffolk Rescue Squad.
