The will of George Blair is recorded in the office of the Clerk of the Superior 
Court of Chowan county, at Edenton, and is recorded in Will Book A, page 51; it 
bears date July 4, 1771 and was probated April Term, 1772; in it he 
mentions "Wife Jean, sons William. George and Samuel, each of my daughters (not 
named); wife Executrix; Sam'l Johnston of Edenton. Josiah Granberry of Norfolk, 
Va., James Gibson of Kelton in Galloway and brother David Blair of Dumfries in 
North Britain, Exrs. Test. John Green, Will Halsey.
