                         JURY OF INQUEST
   A Jury of Inquest on Sunday sat upon the body of WILLIAM EVANS, who was 
found dead in the woods about 13 mmiles from this town [Edenton]. The verdict 
of the Jury, we understand, was that he came to his death from drinking an 
over portion of whiskey. He had been missing for nine days.
