CLAY COUNTY, NC - WILLS - Estate of William McConnell ----¤¤¤---- Clay County - In the Probate Court State of North Carolina Clay County Application for status of Adm'or Estate of Wm McConnell In the Probate Court of Said County, The petition of T.W. Hancock respectfully showeth: I. That William McConnell died in said county on or about the ___ day of ___ 187_ without having made and published any last will and testament II. That your petition makes this application for letters of administration after the expiration of six months from the death of said intestate and those having a right of ?? having failed to apply for the same your petitioner therefor ?? that letters of administration be granted to him on said estate. III. That the intestate when he died was possessive of real and personal property amounting (as nearly as can be ascertained) to about two hundred dollars that the heirs at law are as follows to wit W.J.R. McConnell of Clay County North Carolina, G.W. McConnell of Habersham County Georgia, Ellen Anderson, Ida Anderson, and Robert Anderson minor orphans of Margaret Anderson deceased who was the daughter of the said intestate residents of Clay County North Carolina and without a guardian.
