Addendum to James Irvin Cemetery, Cleveland County, NC

Since the original report, the land around the cemetery has been 
developed for housing. The cemetery plot is in a wooded parcel 
retained by the developer between the lot on the corner of Laney 
and Valerie Drives and the first house on Valerie.

I have examined the grave markers and submit two corrections to 
the record from Dennis Morgan. The records compiled by the NC 
Historical Survey workers in 1939 contained these errors. I encourage 
researchers to confirm such records before posting them and potentially 
propagating errors.

died July 30 1839
aged 39 (not 19) years 4 months 24 days
