John Carl Dyer Obit April 11, 1960-- John Carl Dyer, 65 of DoverMill community, 
died suddenly at home Sunday morning after suffering a heart attack.Mr. Dyer, a 
farmer, was born in Polkville. He had resided in the in theDover Mill community 
for the past 15 years.Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Ella Griffin Dyer of 
the home three brothers, James Matt Dyer of Rutherford, Samuel Dyer of Shelby 
and AncieLee Dyer of Chamblee, Ga; and five sisters Mrs. Sudie Turner and 
Mrs.Tillman, both of the home, Mrs. Jester Lee Bridges and Mrs. Leola 
Hoyle,both of Shelby and Mrs. Paul Walker of 
Charlotte.                                      Mr. Dyer was a veteran of WWI 
and a member of Davidson Memorial Baptist Church where the funeral was to 
beheld at 4 o'clock this afternoon with the Rev. Norman G. Lemmons 
officiating.                   Burial was to be in Zoar Baptist Church cemetery.
