Written: June 9, 1858

State of North Carolina Cleveland County.In the name of God,amen,I Ellinder 
McEntire of said county being of sound and perfect mind and memory blessed be
God do this day of January 1858 in the year of our Lord make and publish this
my last will and testament in manner following that is to say I first give and
bequeath my soul to God who gave it and body to thy grave and after paying all
my debts and funeral expenses,first I gave my son Richard McEntire my Negro man
Samuel and Richard McEntire is to pay to Martin McEntire one hundred dollars
account of thy service of Samuel and my young tan horse to Martin McEntire and
give unto my son Thomas McEntire two dollars and fifty cents and give my son
William McEntire two dollars and fifty cents and give my son Josiah McEntire
two dollars and fifty cents and give my son Abner McEntire two dollars and 
fifty cents and give my daughter Susannah McKinney two dollars and fifty cents.
I give my daughter Nancy Wolf fifty dollars to be paid by Richard and Martin
McEntire that is twenty five dollars cash and I give my daughter Mary Washburn
two dollars and fifty cents and my son Aron McEntire two dollars and fifty 
cents and all my canned goods and meats to be divided between Richard and 
Martin McEntire and I give my grandson Alvanny McEntire a bed and furniture and
shirts and I give my son Richard McEntire my cupboard and I give all my kitchen
and dining furniture and cupboard furniture to Martin McEntire and all the hogs
that is there to Martin McEntire. I hereby make and advise my sons Richard and
Martin McEntire Executors of this my last will and testament set by my hand and
sealed this day and year above written signed sealed and published and declared
by said Ellinder McEntire thy testators as last will and testament in the 
presents of us who were sent at the time of signing and sealing thereof.
