Columbus County, NC - John W. Ellis to Thomas J. Armstrong 
                      for Enoch Robbins, 1860

Thomas J. Armstrong of New Hanover County purchased on 25 May 1860, thirty 
four (34) tracts of land from John W. Ellis Clerk and Master in the Court 
of Equity of Columbus County.  The land was sold by said court as the 
property of Enoch Robbins as described in a deed from A. Jones to said 
Robbins.  Thomas James Armstrong paid eight thousand dollars for the land. 
Columbus County Deed Book N, page 491, deed dated 11 Feb 1861.
