Whiteville News Reporter Sept 18, 1961
Daniel E. Blackburn
   Tabor City - Daniel E. Blackburn, 88, of Whiteville, Route 3, died Thursday 
at Columbus County Hospital, Whiteville.
Final rites were held Friday at 3pm at Inman Funeral Home by the Rev. G. Clyde 
Prince, with burial in Mt Pellar Cemetery.
Survivors include a son, Hallie Blackburn of Texas; three daughters, Mrs. 
Rozier Powell, Loris, SC, Mrs. SC Grainger, Dillon, SC, and Mrs. L.O. Ward of 
Wilmington; a sister Mrs. Essie Harrelson, Whiteville, and 14 grandchildren.
