Daniel Armelin Formyduval, 72, resident of near Hallsboro, succumbed to a lingering illness at his home on Monday. He was born January 10th, 1862. Surviving are is widow, who before marriage was Miss Margaret Baldwin, of Welches Creek Township, and six children; Mrs. J.R. Powell, of Hallsboro, Mrs. E.C. Clark of Wananish; Mrs. H.B. Frink, Clarendon; F.L. Formyduval, Lake Waccamaw; French Formyduval, and Miss Theresa Formyduval, both of Hallsboro. Seven grandchildren also survive. Deceased was a member of the Hallsboro Baptist Church. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon by the reverend Raspberry, pastor of the deceased, assisted by the reverend Brooks and Reverend Phillips. Active pallbearers were: H.C. Baldwin, Jr.; W.O. Baldwin, Reno Frink, Gilbert Rushing, F.L. Gross, Oscar Corbett, and David Maultsby. Honorary; Anthony Wayne, John Carroll, John B. Murr, Baldwin Brown, O.C. Baldwin Sr., and A.G. McDougald. Burial was made in the family cemetery near the home.
