Whiteville News Reporter April 2, 1951
David Goldus Formyduval, 65, a retired farmer, died Thursday night at 7 
o'clock at his home at Nankina, after a long illness.
He was born March 25, 1885, and was the son of the late David Y. Formyduval 
and Mary Ann Smith Formyduval, both of Columbus County.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock from 
Palmyra Baptist Church, of which he was a member, with the Rev. Gaston Hester 
officiating. Interment followed in Ross Cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lou Rose Formyduval; three brothers, Major 
Formyduval of Shallotte, Joy Formyduval of Hallsboro, and CW Formyduval of 
Nankina; and a sister, Mrs. Belle Ward of Nankina.
