Mrs. Dock Connor

   Funeral services were conducted for Mrs. Dock Connor Friday.  Interment was 
made in the family cemetery on the homestead near Hinsons Cross Roads.  
Deceased is survived by her husband and 4 children----Katherine, J.D., Fred and 
Algie; 2 brothers, C.M. and Jesse Hammond,; 6 sisters---Misses Martha and 
Johnie Hammond, Mrs. J.H. Connor, Spring Branch; Mrs. R.J. Colman, Fair Bluff, 
Mrs. Curtis Jolly, Porter Swamp; Mrs. Henry Hovis Walters, Barnesville; her 
mother, Mrs. J.Q. Hammond, Hinsons Cross Roads.
   Pallbearers were Edwin Walters, Carl Stone, Thelam Sealey, Percell Barnes, 
Roscoe Edwards.

Additional Comments:
Ada Catherine Hammond was born Jan 29, 1884 in Columbus County, NC and died Mar 
4, 1936 in Columbus, County. She was married to John Dock Connor.
She was the daughter of John Quincey Hammond and Elizabeth "Betty" Barnes.
