Sudden Death of Mr. J. W. Harelson.
 
   Chadbourn, August 30.-Columbus county lost one of its mostuseful citizeus in 
the death of Mr. J. W. Harrelson, of Chadbourn, which occurred rather suddenly 
Sunday afternoon of a congestive chill.  Mr. Harrelso was born June 2, 1871, and 
for the past seven years had been engaged in the mercantile business at 
Chadbourn.  He had built up an immense trade, besides dealing largely in cross-
ties, lumber, et.
   Mr. Harrelson leaves besides his wife, his father and mother, who live near 
Mount Tabor, and four sisters.  The family has the sympathy of the entire
