MRS. J.P. WADDELL, SR. – MOTHER OF DR. M.A. WADDELL DIED AT HOME IN FAIR BLUFF
YESTERDAY – FUNERAL FRIDAY AT 2 P.M.
  
Mrs. J.P. Waddell, Sr. died at her home at Fair Bluff yesterday, according to a
phone message this morning from her son, Dr. M.A. Waddell of Lumberton. Dr. and
Mrs. Waddell were with her when the end came, having gone to Fair Bluff last
week when advised of his mother’s serious illness.
 
Funeral services will be conducted at the Methodist church at Fair Bluff
tomorrow (Friday) at 2 p.m. by Rev. B.E. Stanfield of Jonesboro, assisted by the
present pastor of the church, Rev. Mr. Chaffin.
