STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA  COURT OF PLEAS & QUARTER SESSIONS   COLUMBUS COUNTY
February Term 1856

ELIZABETH SASSER, CALEB GREEN and wife, WINNYFRED, HENRY SASSER, CALVIN 
SASSER, SIMON SIBBET and wife, EPSY, LEONARD LONG and wife, MARY; JAMES 
SASSER, and  IRA SASSER
                         vs.
MATHEW G. SASSER, Administrator of the estate of  FREDERICK SASSER, deceased, 
and  EVAN SASSER

Petition for Account

In this case, it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that EVAN SASSER 
is a non-resident of this State, it is therefore ordered by the Court that 
publication be made for six successive weeks in the North Carolina Argus, a 
newspaper published in Fayetteville, notifying said non-resident to be and 
appear at our next Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions to be held for the County 
of Columbus in at Court House at Whiteville on the 2nd Monday in May next. 
Then and there to plead, answer or demur to this petition filed. Otherwise 
judgment will be taken pro confesso and heard ex parte as to him. Witness
W.M. BALDWIN, Clerk of the said Court at office in Whiteville, on the 2nd 
Monday in February A.D. 1856.
