  Glasgow County

       Be it remembered that on the 6 day of Sept.1794,JESSE ALDRIDGE,
  CRAWFORD FULLER & BURWELL WESTBROOK personally appeared before me one
  of the Justices assigned to keep the peace in said county,and acknow-
  ledged themselves personally indebted to the State --? as follows.
  JESSE ALDRIDGE IN THE SUM OF 50 POUNDS & CRAWFORD FULLER & BURWELL 
  WESTBROOK in the sum of twenty five pounds each to be paid on condit-
  ion that the ---??JESSE ALDRIDGE shall make his personal appearance 
  before the honorable the Judges of the Superior Court of Law to be 
  held for the district of Newbern at the courthouse in Newbern on the 
  19th day of September ---? and then and there --? and to abide by the
  determination of the said court & not the same without have acknowledg-
  ed before.

  To the Sheriff of Glasgow County Greeting
         You are hereby commanded to take the bodies of JESSE ALDRIDGE 
  and DRURY ALDRIDGE if to be found in your court and them safely keep
  so that you have them before the Judges of our Superior Court of Law 
  at the next said court to be held for the District of Newbern at the 
  courthouse in Newbern on the nineteenth day in September next to answer
  the State in a certain bill of indictment
         Herein fail not and have you then and there this writ.Witness
  SILAS COOK Clerk of the said court at Newbern this nineteenth day of
  March in the XVIII year of Independence Anna Dom 1794
