Inquest 1802	
Unnamed baseborn female child of Mary BELCHER	
30 October 1802	
Clarkey BRAND, Ruth BRAND, Marter STREETER, Mary JORDAN, Elizabeth BRYANT, 
Maryan ELLIS, Charity HART, Judy BREECH, Nancy BELSHER
	
Jury of inquest found that Mary BELCHER did give birth to a baseborn child, 
and did conceal it, but was not guilty of murdering it. She had no property. 

Bondsmen for Mary BELCHER were Woody BELCHER and John BELCHER; 
the inquest was held at the home of Woody BELCHER. 

The baby died (at birth?) and she put it there until she could bury it. She 
was afraid her father would find out.
