Bryan, Clerk of the Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions of Craven County, Discharging the duties of "Entry Taker" of claims for lands in the County of Craven, by vir- tue of the Act of Assembly, known as the fourth section of the 42nd Chapter of the Acts of 1854-'55, entitled "An Act concerning Entries and Grants." To the Surveyor of said County--Greeting: You are hereby required, as soon as may be, to Lay Off and Survey for Anson H. Brite and Micajah Sawyer a tract or parcel of Land, containing four thousand acres, lying in the county aforesaid. On the North side of Neuse River between the head of Smith Creek & Trent Creek, beginning at the edge of the main road leading from Trent Creek to Smiths Creek in Daniel O'Leary's line, running with O'Leary line Northwardly and Eastwardly to Micajah Sawyer line, thence with his line to the main road leading to Brandy Creek, thence with the main road to Soloman Alexanders line, thence with his line to Miles Brothers line, thence with his line to John Alexanders line, thence with his line to George W. Vinters(?) line , thence with his line to Samuel Whitehursts line, thence with his line to O. S. Dennis line, hence with his line to Gideon Morris's line, thence with his line to the line of the heirs of Gideon Sparrow, thence with their line to Hardy Hooker's line, thence with his line to James Mozingo's line, thence with his line Southwardly and Westwardly to the main roads and with the main roads to the beginning. Entered the 28th day of September A.D., 1866, observing the directions of the Act of the Assembly in such case made and provided for running out Lands. Two just and fair PLANS of such survey, with proper certificate annexed to each, you are to transmit with this warrant, to the Secretary's office without delay.
