STALLIOSE said they were scared to go over, but BURNETT was not. "I can go by myself." "I expect the factory is crowded." "I don't care if it is do you Francis." STALLIOSE didn't look at her [to see her fall in]; she made no noise. It was light enough to see. YOUNG corroborated STALLIOSE word for word. A. WILLIAMS did not know anything about how she got in the water. He was fishing and when he got back, they came after him to go look for her, which he did; he succeeded in getting her out. J. WILLIAMS says all she knows is she saw her fall in and rise once. MCNEAL says all she knows is what Jeanette said. Inquest verdict: Inquest held in New Bern. Came to her death by accidental drowning by falling off R. Rd bridge crossing river west.
